Champs Hair & Beauty Salon

Champs Hair & Beauty Salon is located at Shop No. 5 in the Samruddhi Complex on the ground floor. We are out on Gotri Road, right near the Reliance Petrol Pump. It’s a good spot because people can see us as they drive by. The name "Champs" was something we thought sounded nice and easy to remember. Inside, we have three chairs for hair and a small partitioned area for beauty work. The floor is grey stone, which is easy to sweep. We get a lot of men and women here since we do both hair and beauty. It’s not a huge place, but we make it work. The air conditioner works most of the time, but when it’s really hot, it struggles a bit. We have a pile of old magazines on the table for people to look at while they wait. Most are from two years ago, but nobody seems to mind. My brother helps with the men's hair, and I do the rest. We usually eat our lunch in the back room around two o’clock. Sometimes the smell of curry lingers for a bit, but it’s just how it is. We are just regular people working a regular job. We don’t have fancy uniforms, just some aprons to keep the hair off our clothes. It’s a straightforward shop for people in the Gotri area to get their hair done. We try to keep the scissors sharp and the mirrors clean.
