Our eye hospital is situated right on the Gorwa Refinery Road in Vadodara. We are inside the Bhagyoday Service Centre at C/11. Since we are on the refinery road, it gets very busy with trucks and traffic, so it can be a bit of a journey to get here depending on the time of day. Once you get inside the service centre area, it’s a bit more manageable. We deal with eyes all day long, which means a lot of people coming in who can’t see very well, so we have to be careful with how the furniture is laid out. The clinic is practical and focused on the work. We have the testing equipment in one room and the waiting area in another. It’s not a luxury hospital with a big lobby; it’s a working clinic where things happen quickly. Gorwa is a busy industrial part of Vadodara, and we fit right into that environment. The staff is used to the pace, and we try to get through the appointments without too much fuss. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles a bit with the Gujarat heat, but we do our best to keep everyone comfortable. We’ve been at this refinery road location for a while now, and we’ve become a regular fixture for the people living and working around the Gorwa area who need to get their vision checked by someone they know.
