Atmiya Hair Art

If you head down to Koyali, you will find Atmiya Hair Art. We are right across from the Patel Shopping Center. It is a bit out of the main city center of Vadodara, which is nice because it’s a little quieter out here in 391330. I opened this shop because I live nearby and wanted to work close to home. The space is pretty basic. We have the usual chairs and some mirrors that I bought second-hand when I first started out. They have a few scratches on the frames, but they work fine for seeing what I’m doing. Most days it’s just me here. I handle the cutting and the cleaning up afterwards. Sometimes my cousin comes by to help when it’s a weekend and the village gets busy. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the birds outside if the traffic is low. I usually have the radio playing some old songs. The floor gets dusty because of the road right outside, so I’m always sweeping. It isn't a perfect shop, but it is mine and I keep it running every day. Just a small hair art place for the people around Koyali who need a trim and a bit of a chat before they go home.
