Ashapuri Hair Art

Ashapuri Hair Art is found at Shop No-B/2 in the Amit Complex. We are right on the Subhanpura Main Road, so there is always the sound of scooters and cars going past. It is a very central spot in Vadodara, near the Panchratna Apartment. Most of the folks who live in those flats come over to us. The shop itself is small but we keep it organized. We have the usual stuff, combs, scissors, and a few different sprays. It is not a place where you find luxury, just a honest haircut. Sometimes we have the radio on or just talk to whoever is sitting in the chair. The main road can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time dusting off the chairs and the glass. Being in Subhanpura means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are in a hurry to get to work and others have all the time in the world. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the shears. It is a steady business. We have been here in Amit Complex for a while and we know the other shop owners around us well. We usually open up and stay until late evening. If someone needs a quick trim before an event, they know where to find us. It’s just a regular part of the street here.
