Asha Beauty Parlour

You can find Asha Beauty Parlour right on M G Road in Mandvi. We are situated in a very busy area, right opposite the Chimanlal Vrajlal Showroom. Actually, if you see the Mina Bazar Saree Showroom, we are directly opposite that one too. It’s a lot of noise out there on the main road with all the cars and the people shopping for clothes. Inside the parlour, it’s a little bit more peaceful, but you can still hear the horns honking. I’ve been at this location for a while now and I’ve seen many shops come and go. Being near the saree showrooms is good because women come here after they finish their shopping. I keep the place running from morning until late evening. Sometimes my hands get tired from all the threading and cutting, but that’s just part of the job. I don’t have a big fancy website or anything like that. I just rely on people walking by and seeing the sign or friends telling friends about us. The space is filled with the smell of hair spray and herbal creams. It's a busy life here in Mandvi. I usually eat my lunch in the back room in between clients. It isn't a glamorous life, but I like being my own boss and seeing the familiar faces of M G Road every single day. If the power goes out, we just open the door and wait it out with some chai until it comes back.
