Aquafauna Fisheries

Aquafauna Fisheries is based out of B-186, Vraj Vihar, right behind the Raneshwar Temple on Vasna Road. But most of the real work happens at our farm in Sangma, near Raipura. It’s a bit of a drive between the two, but that’s just how it goes. We deal with fish and aquatic life, which isn't your typical office job. There's a lot of mud, water, and early mornings involved. If you come by the farm, you'll likely see us in boots hauling nets or checking the tanks. It's a lot of physical labor. We don't have any polished sales pitches or fancy brochures. We just know our fish. The weather is a big factor for us; a heavy rain or a heatwave can change our whole week. It’s stressful sometimes, worrying about the stock, but we’ve been doing this long enough to handle it. The house in Vraj Vihar is where we handle the paperwork and the phone calls. It’s quieter there than out at the ponds. We aren't a massive commercial operation. It’s just us trying to raise healthy fish and get them where they need to go. We’ve learned a lot by trial and error over the years. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks and keeping the farm running properly. It is honest, wet work that keeps us on our toes.
