Animal Shelter Cum Hospital

Our shelter and hospital is located at 283 in the GIDC area of Markarpura. It’s an industrial zone, so there’s plenty of space around us for what we do. We take in animals that need help and provide a place for them to stay while they get better. The building is a basic structure, nothing too pretty to look at, but it does the job. We have different areas for the animals depending on what they need. It can get pretty noisy with all the barking and other sounds, especially during feeding times. We spend most of our day cleaning up and making sure everyone is fed. It’s hard work and it’s definitely not a glamorous job. The GIDC area is busy with trucks and factories, so we have to keep a close eye on the gates. We get animals brought in from all over the Markarpura area. Some stay for a short time, others are with us much longer. We just take it one day at a time here. There’s always a lot to do, from fixing fences to checking on the sick ones. It’s just a plain, hardworking shelter for animals that don't have anywhere else to go. We do what we can with the space we have. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s where the animals have the room they need to recover.
