Amigos The Coffee Houses

You can find us at A 26 on Sampige Road, which is right in the Akota area. It’s a coffee place, but we are definitely not like one of those big international chain shops. We try to keep it pretty simple and relaxed here. There are just a few tables and chairs scattered around, and it’s usually quiet enough for people to sit and have a proper talk. We spend a lot of our time making sure the espresso machine is running right because it’s a bit old. The smell of roasted coffee is always hanging in the air, which is a good thing. We get a mix of local students and people who work in the nearby offices. It’s not a very big shop, just enough space for a few small groups at a time. We don't have a massive menu with a hundred confusing names. It’s just straightforward coffee and maybe a few small snacks to eat if we have them ready that day. The lighting inside is a bit dim and moody, which some of our regulars really seem to like. We’ve been on Sampige Road for quite a while now. Some days are very slow, and we just sit near the window and watch the cars go by. Other times, it gets so busy we can barely keep up with the orders. We don't have a marketing plan or any fancy flyers. We just put the sign out and open up. It’s a nice little spot to escape the noise.
