Ambica Salon

Ambica Salon is situated at Shop Number 25 in Aastha Avenue. You can find us on the Main Road in Gorwa, Vadodara, right near the Anandvan Complex. Being on the main road means we see a lot of traffic and people passing by all day long. The shop is a straightforward place for getting a haircut or a shave. We don't have any complicated menus or expensive packages. We just list the basic services on a board and that is it. The interior is simple with a few chairs and mirrors that have seen a lot of use over the years. We keep our tools sharp and our towels washed. That’s the main thing in this business. We are local people serving other local people. Some of our customers have been coming to us since they were children and now they bring their own kids. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the community like that. We don't try to be something we are not. We aren't a high-end boutique; we are just a salon where you can get a quick cut and go about your day. The rent stays the same and we keep working hard to keep the shop going. It’s a practical life. We deal with the heat and the dust from the road, but we stay open for the people who need us. We don't need much more than our regulars and a steady day of work.
