Alpha Classes

If you walk down Tarsali Main Road, you will find Alpha Classes. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We have a few rooms with whiteboards and rows of benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. Being right on the main road means there is always the sound of rickshaws and cars passing by, but we have gotten used to it. We open up early to get things ready before the first group arrives. There’s usually a bit of dust from the road that we have to wipe off the desks every morning. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s usually just one of us sitting at the front desk handling the registers and talking to parents. Tarsali is a busy part of town, and we like being in the middle of it all. The walls are mostly bare, maybe a calendar or a map here and there. We focus on the books and the lessons. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open the windows wide, but the work doesn't stop. It’s not a corporate school with big budgets. We are just local people teaching what we know. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long evening sessions. It’s a basic setup that works for us and the people who come here. We keep a stack of extra pens in the drawer because someone always forgets theirs.
