Akshar Hair Cut

Akshar Hair Cut is found on the first floor of Vrundavan Complex. That is on Waghodia Road in Vadodara, right near the Poonam Complex. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up the stairs, but people don’t seem to mind. Our unit is Ff-7. It’s not a very large space, just enough for three or four chairs and a small bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. The windows look out onto the main road, so you can see the bikes and cars going past all day. We have been in this complex for a while now. The interior is simple, with white tiles and big mirrors that we wipe down every morning. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations. There is a small television in the corner, but it’s usually on a low volume or just showing the cricket match. Most of our customers are from the surrounding residential areas. They come in after work or on their day off. We do a lot of kids' haircuts too, especially during the school holidays. The atmosphere is relaxed. We don't rush through the work, but we also don't keep people waiting longer than we have to. It’s a typical neighborhood hair cutting shop where you can get a decent cut and a bit of a chat without any fuss. We keep our tools in drawers and make sure everything is ready.
