We are located in Tarkhari village, which is a quiet spot here in Banda. Our setup is at Yugul Kishor’s place, and honestly, it’s not much to look at, just a regular house where we handle the paperwork. Bamdev Kishan Producer Company Limited came about because a bunch of us locals realized we were all facing the same problems with our crops and selling them at the market. Most of us have been farming this land for as long as we can remember, so we know how the soil feels and when the weather is going to turn. We don't have any fancy city offices or people in suits running things. It is just us, the people who actually work the fields every day. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized because we are busy with the harvest or dealing with the cows, but we manage to get by. Being in Uttar Pradesh, we have seen a lot of changes over the years, and we just wanted to have something of our own that helps the neighborhood farmers get a fair deal. We spend a lot of time sitting around talking about seeds and water. It isn’t always easy, and there are days when the power goes out and we can’t get much done. But we keep at it because this is our home. We are just simple people trying to keep the farming tradition going in Tarkhari without making things too complicated for ourselves or the others involved.
