Dev Bhoomi Bangana Agri Producer Company Limited

Our company is Dev Bhoomi Bangana Agri Producer Company Limited. We are based out of Seema Kumari’s place in Lakhr village. That is in the Una district, near Po-Jas. We chose the name Dev Bhoomi because that is what everyone calls our state, the land of the gods. Bangana is our local area where we grew up. Lakhr is a small village where life moves at a steady pace and people know their neighbors. Seema Kumari provides the space for us to keep our records and meet when we need to. We aren't a big industrial outfit with lots of machines. We are just farmers from around Una who decided to pool our resources together. The work is mostly about the agriculture we do right here in the village. We deal with the heat in the summer and the heavy rains when they come. There isn't anything flashy about our office in Lakhr. It’s just a practical place to get the job done and store the bags. We spend a lot of time discussing things with the members who come by to visit. Since it's a small place, people just drop in when they have a question or need help with something. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and talk to whoever is sitting there. It’s a community thing for us. We are focused on the daily reality of farming in Distt- Una. It keeps us busy and we prefer it that way.
