Haidery Bakery

You’ll find us at 21 Bakery Gali, which is just a short walk from Tanki Chowk. It’s a very fitting name for the lane since Haidery Bakery has been a fixture here for many years. Tanki Chowk is a local landmark, and it’s always buzzing with activity, especially in the late afternoons and evenings. Bakery Gali itself is a bit narrower, and it’s usually filled with the smells of whatever we are baking that day. Our shop at number 21 isn’t very large, and it’s definitely not one of those modern, high-end patisseries. It’s a simple, local bakery where the walls have seen a lot of history. We have our counters where we keep everything, and the back is where all the actual work happens. It can get pretty crowded in the mornings when people are stopping by on their way to work, but we like the fast pace. We spend a lot of time talking to our neighbors and the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a very friendly atmosphere where everyone knows each other’s names. We don’t have any fancy marketing or bright lights. We just have our small spot in the Gali and our daily routine. The area around Tanki Chowk is noisy and chaotic sometimes, but inside the bakery, things feel a bit more familiar and steady. It’s just our way of life here at number 21 for all these years.
