Blue Bolt

Up here in Chidiyari, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. Blue Bolt is located right next to the Pir Panjal Cottage. It’s a beautiful spot, really, with the mountains always in the background. Sometimes when the clouds come down low, you can hardly see the road. We work out of a modest building that fits right into the surroundings. It isn't a high-tech facility by any means. We have our desks, our equipment, and a small space for tea breaks. Most of our days are spent coordinating things over the phone or handling whatever comes through the door. Being next to a cottage means we get a few tourists wandering by every now and then asking for directions. We don’t mind. The winters get quite cold, and we have to keep the heaters going just to keep our fingers moving on the keyboards. We don't have any big slogans or flashy signs outside. Just a simple nameplate so people know they’ve reached the right place. It’s a quiet life, but we like it that way. The work gets done, even if we take a moment to look at the view every once in a while. It’s just a handful of us here, and we’ve become more like family over the years. We take things one day at a time and try to keep everything running smoothly.
