Our shop is number 2 in the Maharana Udai Singh Market, right at Udai Pole in Udaipur. If you know the area, you know it is right near the main bus stand. That makes our location very convenient for anyone who is about to catch a bus or has just arrived in town. At Bajrang Vishvkarma Travels, we see hundreds of people walk by every day. Some stop in to ask for directions, while others are looking for a ticket. We try to help everyone out as best as we can. The market is always loud and there is a lot of dust from the buses, but we don't mind it much anymore. We have a small desk, a few chairs, and a telephone that never seems to stop ringing. It’s a local business, run by people who grew up around here. We don't use any complicated systems. We just write things down and make sure people know where they need to be. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when a bus is late or the weather is bad. But usually, it is just a steady flow of travelers. We like being so close to the bus stand because it keeps us right in the middle of everything. If you are passing through Udai Pole, you will probably see us sitting there, talking to drivers or helping someone with their luggage. We’ve been at this shop for years and the view of the bus stand never really changes.
