Paryataka India

Paryataka India is over in Panchwati, specifically at 43, Ward No 32 in Udaipur. It is a nice part of the city to work in. We have been here for a while now, doing our travel work from this small office. It is not like those big corporate places you see in the magazines. We have some maps on the walls and a couple of computers that sometimes act up. Mostly, we spend our time talking to people who want to see different parts of India or just need a ride to the airport. The Panchwati area is usually busy, but our street stays okay most of the time. We have a routine where we check our bookings first thing and then see who is coming in. It is just us here, so we do everything ourselves from answering the phones to writing out the receipts. Sometimes we drink a lot of tea while we figure out a long travel route for a family. We know the local area very well because we have stayed here so long. It is a simple life of managing cars and tickets. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up, open the doors, and help whoever walks in or calls. It’s about being practical and making sure the travel plans actually work out for the people paying us. Dealing with the traffic and the heat is just part of the daily grind in Udaipur, but we don't mind it much.
