Welcome Cement Suppliers

Over at Welcome Cement Suppliers on Naya Marg, things stay pretty active near Mavli Junction. Since this is the "new road," there’s always something happening or some new construction starting up nearby. We deal mostly with cement, so the whole place has that specific smell and feel. We have stacks of bags piled high and we are always checking to make sure they stay dry. If the weather looks like rain, we’re all rushing around with tarps. It is hard work on the back, moving those bags around, but we are used to it by now. The office is just a small corner with a few stools and a calendar on the wall. We don't have fancy brochures to show people. Usually, someone just pulls up their tractor or truck, tells us what they need, and we start loading. We see a lot of people coming in from the surrounding villages because of our location near the junction. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it's quiet and just watch the traffic go by on Naya Marg. It’s a simple setup. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just provide the cement and try to get the counts right every time. It’s been a good way to make a living and we know a lot of the regulars by name now. The work is physical and tiring, but we keep the gates open every morning.
