Vikram Builders is based out of the Kamal Complex in the Gulab Bagh area of Udaipur. Our office isn't anything special, just a place to keep our records and meet people. Being in Udaipur, we get to see a lot of the city while we move between different construction sites. The office is actually registered under the name of Harichand’s son, and we’ve been operating from this Girwa location for some time now. Dealing with building projects in Rajasthan involves a lot of managing the heat and making sure the workers are doing okay. We spend our mornings checking on the progress of walls being built or foundations being poured. Then in the afternoons, it's back to the office in Kamal Complex to handle the billing and the boring stuff. It’s mostly just us trying to keep projects moving along without too many hitches. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down or someone not showing up, but that is just how construction is. We don't try to make it sound better than it is. It’s dusty, loud, and hard work, but we are used to it by now. The 313001 area is where we do most of our business. We know the local suppliers and where to get the right materials for the jobs we take on. It is a straightforward operation we run here, and we like it that way. Most days, we just hope for clear skies and enough labor to get the job done properly.
