United (India) Insurance Company Ltd

Our office is sitting right by Shastri Circle. If you know where Guru Nanak School is, we are just a short walk from there. It's a plain building for United (India) Insurance Company Ltd, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, stacks of folders, and the sound of the ceiling fans going around. We spend a lot of our time looking at forms and helping people who come in from the street. Some folks are in a hurry, others just want to sit and talk through their situation. We don't have fancy decorations or a lobby that looks like a hotel. It’s an honest workspace where the staff knows most of the locals by name. The traffic at the circle can get loud in the mornings when parents are dropping kids off at the school, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We take our lunch breaks when we can, and there’s always someone around to answer the phone. Dealing with insurance isn't always the most exciting thing, but it’s what we do here. We focus on getting the paperwork right and making sure everyone gets their turn. It’s a busy life near the circle, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a good while now. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
