Swastik Cement Agency

We are Swastik Cement Agency, based in the Madri Industrial Area, specifically at M 2 in Arihant Colony on Road 3. This is an area where a lot of work happens, so there is always the sound of machinery and big engines nearby. Our agency handles cement, and we have a godown where we keep all the bags. The air in the industrial area can be a bit heavy with the smell of exhaust and dust, but we are used to it after all this time. Being on Road 3 makes it easy for the big delivery trucks to find us, though the road can get pretty crowded during the middle of the day. Inside our space, it is mostly just stacks and stacks of cement bags reaching up toward the ceiling. We have a small desk tucked away in one corner where we do the billing and keep our records. It is a very straightforward operation with no frills. We spend a lot of our time checking the inventory and making sure the bags are kept dry, because any moisture would ruin the stock. It’s a lot of lifting and moving, and you definitely get a workout doing this job. We know most of the other people working in Arihant Colony, and we often share a cup of tea while waiting for the next truck to arrive. It is just how life is in this industrial part of town.
