Our place, Sterling (India) Miners, is located at Plot No.1 in the Sukher Industrial Area. If you are driving on National Highway 8, you will see us near the Lodha Filling Station. It’s a dusty part of Udaipur because of all the stone and industrial work going on nearby. We’ve been involved in the mining sector for a while. It’s a tough business, and the weather out here doesn't make it any easier. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the summer months. We have a small office on the plot where we handle the billing and the schedules. Most of our equipment is parked out back. We aren't the kind of company that has a polished reception desk or people in suits. You’ll usually find someone in boots and a dusty shirt. We deal with minerals and the logistics of moving them from one place to another. It’s a lot of coordination with drivers and site managers. Udaipur is famous for this kind of work, and we are just one small part of that big machine. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We keep things basic and focus on getting the loads moved on time. Sometimes the trucks break down or the rain slows us down, but that’s just life in this industry. We do our best to stay on top of things and keep moving.
