Sng Minerals

Our place is at Plot No. 184 in Bhupolpura. If you walk by, you’ll see it’s a fairly practical setup without any bells or whistles. Working with minerals at Sng Minerals means things can get a bit messy, so there is usually some fine dust on the desks and the windows. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the ledgers to see what’s coming in and what needs to go out to the sites. The street outside stays fairly active with people going about their business. Inside, the space is filled with heavy bags and samples that we’ve gathered over the weeks. We don't really have a receptionist or anything, so usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up to see who’s coming in. It’s a small team of us here, and we mostly just focus on getting the orders filled correctly. Sometimes the humidity makes the paperwork stick together, which is a bit of a pain. We’ve got an old metal cupboard where we keep the important stuff, and the door always squeaks when you open it. It’s not a shiny corporate environment, but it’s where we spend our days and it feels like home to us. We just show up every morning, unlock the gate, and get started on whatever is on the list for that day. It is straightforward and keeps us busy.
