Shyam Mineral And Granite

Bidiyad is a very dry and dusty place, especially in the Riico Industrial Area where we are situated. Our plot is E/36. It is a bit of a drive from the main part of Nagaur district, but this is where all the stone work happens. We have been running Shyam Mineral And Granite for a good while now. The yard is basically just a flat piece of land covered in granite blocks and bags of minerals. It gets extremely hot in the afternoons. The sun reflects off the polished stones and it can be quite blinding if you are not careful. We do not have much of a fancy office here. It is just a small room with a few chairs and a wooden table where we keep the ledger. Most of the time, we are outside. We spend the day checking the quality of the granite that comes in from the quarries. Some pieces have much better patterns than others. We tell people exactly what they are getting. There is no point in making things up or promising what we do not have. The trucks come in covered in thick dust from the long roads. We offer the drivers some cold water and get to work unloading immediately. It is a lot of hard manual labor. My brother and I run the place together without any big marketing plans. We just rely on the people who know us.
