You can find Shivam Leather Art at No. 662 Subhash Marg. We are situated in the Vario Ki Gati area of Mohali Chota. The shop is filled with the smell of leather all day long. It's a smell you get used to after a week or two. We spend a lot of time cutting, stitching, and just making things out of hides. It’s messy work. There’s always scraps of material on the floor and tools scattered across the benches. We try to keep it organized, but when we’re in the middle of a project, things tend to pile up. The location on Subhash Marg is pretty easy to find once you know where the turn is. We've got a few old machines that make a lot of noise, but they still work fine for what we do. Our hands are usually stained or have small cuts, which comes with the territory of working with leather. It’s a small team here. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll find one of us hunched over a piece of leather. We just focus on making things that hold up. Some days are slow and we just chat, other days we’re working late into the evening. It’s just a local shop in Mohali Chota doing what we know how to do. We don’t do big fancy displays or anything. We have been here since the start.
