Vintage Leather Bags

Our shop, Vintage Leather Bags, is located over in Block A. We are right in the area of Sector 14 and Sector 4 here in Udaipur. It’s an interesting part of town because it’s a mix of different types of buildings and small businesses. We spend a lot of time in this space surrounded by our materials and tools. It’s not a high-end showroom with bright lights and fancy glass displays. Instead, it’s more of a workshop feel where you can smell the leather as soon as you walk through the door. We have rolls of material and different tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of a project. The floors are a bit worn and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works perfectly for what we do every day. Being in this part of Sector 14 means we are part of a busy local community in Rajasthan. We see people going about their business from morning until night. The layout of Block A can be a little confusing for people who haven't been here before, but we are easy to spot once you get into the right lane. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the trade. Most of our day is spent at the benches, working with our hands. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with scraps and thread on the floor, but that’s just the nature of our work.
