Mirza Abrar Beig

This is Mirza Abrar Beig’s place at Court Chauraha 63. Being near the court means there is always a lot of movement outside. People are always in a hurry or looking stressed. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We have wooden chairs and shelves filled with old files that have seen better days. It’s a very practical setup. We don't have fancy air conditioning that works all the time, so we keep the windows open. The dust from the road comes in, but that’s just how it is at Court Chauraha. We spend a lot of time reading through papers and talking to people who come in with various problems. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of typing. The keyboard we use is a bit loud, which adds to the noise of the ceiling fan. We’ve been at this address for quite a while now. People know where to find us. It’s a landmark of sorts in this little corner. We aren't trying to be the biggest office in town. We just want to do our job properly. Sometimes we stay late when the work piles up. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. It’s a simple life here. No big corporate meetings, just direct talk with people who need help with their paperwork or cases. It’s honest work, and we’re glad to be part of the local community. It feels good to finish a long day and lock up the office.
