Our place, Shreenath Building Material Suppliers, is tucked into Gariyawas at 65 New Adarsh Nagar. It is more of a residential neighborhood than a big commercial hub, which makes things a bit different for us. We have to be careful with the big trucks so we don't block the neighbors' driveways or make too much noise while people are still sleeping. The yard is usually full of whatever we managed to get in that week. It might be bricks one day or something else the next. We have lived around here for a while, so we know the families on this street. It feels more like a local hangout sometimes than a shop. People walk over to ask advice about a leak or a new wall they want to put up. We don't have a glossy sign or anything. Just the materials and a space to load them up. Sometimes the rain makes the ground a bit muddy, which is a pain for the boots, but we deal with it. I do the paperwork on a small wooden table in the corner. It’s a bit cramped when we get a lot of stuff delivered at once. We just work steady and try to stay helpful to the folks living nearby. It’s not a complicated life. We supply what’s needed and keep the yard as tidy as a building site can be. We just stick to our routine and get the orders out.
