We work out of a place called Devi Kripa, at 8-A, New Palo Ground in Saheli Nagar. It’s a bit different than the crowded bazaars because Saheli Nagar is a bit more open. Devi Kripa is the name of our building, and it’s where we handle all our export work. Even though we send things far away, the work is still done by hand right here. We don't have a big warehouse; it's more like a large house that we converted into a workspace. New Palo Ground is a decent area with a bit more breathing room than the old city. We spend a lot of our time packing things carefully because stone is heavy but it can also be fragile if you drop it the wrong way. We don't have a sales team or anyone like that. Usually, it's just us answering the phone or checking the wooden crates. It’s a lot of paperwork too, which none of us really likes, but it has to be done for the exports to go through smoothly. The atmosphere here is usually quiet until we start using the grinders. Then it gets pretty loud for the neighbors. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. We don't use corporate talk or try to sound bigger than we are. We are just a local business in Saheli Nagar doing our best to get the art out to people who want it.
