Shiv Balaji Enterprises is located right in the Housing Board Colony of Pratap Nagar. Being inside a residential area means we have to be a bit careful about how much noise we make. We aren't just about marble; we handle a few different things that people need when they are building. It started out small and stayed that way, which suits me just fine. I like knowing the people who walk through the door. Most of them live just a few streets away. The shop is a bit cluttered with samples and offcuts, but I know where everything is. My wife sometimes comes by to help with the paperwork because I'd rather be out back moving stuff around. We don't have a fancy logo or a big truck with our name on it. We just use a local guy with a tractor when we need to move something big. It’s a simple life. We open up early, sweep the front, and wait to see who stops by. Sometimes it's a busy day, other times we just sit and watch the traffic go by the colony gates. We don't do any big promotions or ads. If you need something for your house, you come and ask. We tell you what it costs and that’s the end of it. It’s a practical way to run things without any extra fuss.
