Rimjhim Tea Co

Rimjhim Tea Co is over at 6 Bapu Bazar Nada Khada, right near the Gol Chowk. It’s a good spot because there’s always a lot of foot traffic in Bapu Bazar. Our shop is just a basic place where we keep our tea stock. We have rows of jars and some larger bags stacked in the back. The building is a bit old, so the walls have some cracks, but it stays dry, which is what matters for the tea. I usually get here around nine to open up the wooden doors. The morning is the best time because it’s a bit cooler before the sun hits the street. We handle all sorts of tea, from the basic ones people use every day to a few nicer blends. We don't use any high-tech equipment, just a simple set of scales and some scoops. Sometimes we have to move the bags around to get to the one a customer wants, which can be a bit of a workout. The neighbors are mostly other shopkeepers selling clothes or hardware. We all know each other and sometimes share a cup of tea in the afternoon when things quiet down. It’s not a fancy business, just a way to make a living in the market. We take things as they come and try to keep the bins full. That’s about all there is to it at our little corner.
