Cafe Meraki

Cafe Meraki is located at House No 9, Malla Talai in Udaipur. It’s right behind Chunda Palace, which is a pretty well-known spot. We started this place because we had the space and thought it would be nice to have a small cafe in the neighborhood. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us working here every day. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most people who come in live nearby or are staying at the hotels around Hari Das Ji Ki Magri. We just wanted a spot where you could sit down and not feel rushed. The building is an old house, so it has that kind of feel to it. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we have to fix a light, but that's just how it is with these older places. We try to keep the menu simple so we can actually get the food out on time. It’s mostly just tea, coffee, and some snacks we like to make. The view outside isn't bad either. We don't have a big corporate team behind us, just a family trying to run a business. We show up, open the doors, and hope people enjoy their time here. If you're looking for something fancy, this might not be it, but we keep it clean and the chairs are comfortable enough. That’s pretty much us. Nothing more to it really.
