Purohit Minerals is located out in Sukher, right near the Vandan Way Bridge on N.H. 8. Being so close to the highway means things never really get quiet. We deal more with minerals here than just decorative stone. It is a different kind of work. The bags and the raw materials create a lot of fine dust that gets into everything. You won't find any shiny furniture or polished floors in our workspace. It is a practical environment meant for moving heavy loads. We spend our time monitoring what comes in from the mines and making sure it gets where it needs to go. The crew here is small, and we mostly just talk about the work at hand. We don't go in for fancy titles or complicated processes. It is just about getting the minerals processed and loaded. Sometimes the trucks get backed up near the bridge, and we have to wait our turn. We’ve been in this spot for some time, and we know the neighbors and the truck drivers who pass through regularly. It isn't a complicated life, but it is a busy one. We focus on the material in front of us. If you come by, you’ll see we are usually right in the middle of a task. We don’t stop to make things look pretty for visitors; we just keep the operation running.
