If you find yourself on Swaroop Nagar Road, you’ll see the Shri Ji Palace Complex, and that’s where we are at number 117. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when the local market picks up. Inside our place, it’s mostly just rows of printers and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We do a lot of small jobs for people in the area, like printing forms or posters for local events. The walls are covered with old samples and some calendars that are probably out of date by now. There’s always that specific smell of ink and warm paper in the air, which I’ve grown to like after all these years. My brother and I run the place, and we usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively. Sometimes the complex gets a bit noisy with all the other shops nearby, but we don’t mind it much. We spend most of our time making sure the colors look right on the page and that the paper doesn’t jam. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy furniture or expensive decor. We just have what we need to get the work done. People around here know us as the place to go when they need something printed quickly without any fuss. We just keep our heads down and work through the pile of orders on the desk.
