If you ever find yourself over on 60 Bedla Road, you will see our place, Nakoda Building Materials. It is a straightforward setup. We have been working out of this spot for a while, and most of the people around here know where we are. Usually, the day begins with us moving bags of cement around to make space for whatever else is coming in that day. It is not glamorous work by any means. There is always sand on the floor and the smell of fresh concrete in the air. We see a lot of the same faces, contractors who have been working in the area for years and homeowners trying to handle their own repairs. We try to keep things organized, but in a busy yard, things tend to get a bit messy. That is just the nature of the business. The trucks come and go, and we spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the right piles go to the right people. 60 Bedla Road is a good spot for us because it is easy enough for the big vehicles to turn around. Sometimes the heat gets to you in the afternoon, so we take it a bit slower then. It is just a local business run by people who live nearby. We don't do anything fancy, just supply the basics like cement and other building stuff that folks need for their projects.
