Meghraj Sohanlal is situated at 10-A, right by the Hiran Magri Main Gate near the Krishi Mandi. Because we are so close to the market gate, we see a lot of trucks and farmers every single morning. The shop is mostly filled with sacks and containers. It’s a practical space designed for work, not for showing off to anyone. We deal in various goods that come through the mandi, and it’s been our family's way of life for a long time. There is always a layer of dust on the ledges because of the constant movement of vehicles outside, so we are always cleaning up. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing stuff. People just know where we are. They come to us because they’ve been coming here for years. Sometimes the traffic at the main gate gets backed up, and the noise is quite loud, but we just keep working through it. Our shop isn't very large, but we use every inch of it to store our stock safely. We sit on wooden stools and use old ledgers to keep track of everything we do. It’s an honest way to spend the day. If you need something from the mandi area, you’ll find us at 10-A. We are usually here before the sun is fully up, getting ready for the day’s trade. It is a long day but we are used to it.
