My office is right at Court Chauraha 34. If you have ever been to the local court, you have probably walked right past my door at some point. Being Bhimraj Patel means I spend a lot of my time dealing with people who have problems to solve or papers to file. It is a busy intersection, always full of advocates, police, and folks looking for some kind of help. There is a lot of noise from the traffic and the crowds outside the window. Inside, it is just a simple room with a few chairs and stacks of files everywhere. I do not believe in having a polished, corporate look for my workspace. It is just a place where work gets done. My desk is usually covered in papers, pens, and stamps. People come in and sit down, and we talk about their cases or their paperwork for as long as it takes. I have been at this spot for years, so I know most of the people who work around the square. We drink tea from the vendor across the street and wait for our turn in the various courtrooms. It is a lot of waiting and a lot of talking. I do not use any fancy software to manage my day. I just keep track of things in my head and in my paper diary. It is a practical way to live. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it works.
