Mayur Cafe Roof Top

Our cafe is on the rooftop at Jagdish Marg 155. To get up here, you have to climb some pretty narrow stairs, but once you are at the top, you get a decent view of the street below. It is much quieter up here than it is down on the main road where all the rickshaws are. We have a few tables and chairs spread out under a shade. It is not a very fancy setup, just some basic furniture and some potted plants that we try to keep alive in the heat. We serve coffee and some light food that we cook in our small kitchen area. It gets quite hot in the middle of the day, so most people prefer to come up here in the late afternoon when there is a bit of a breeze. We have a few lights strung up for when it gets dark. Sometimes the monkeys come around and we have to shoo them away so they don't take anything off the tables. It is a bit of a climb for the staff to bring everything up from the bottom, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a huge menu because the kitchen is so small, but we make enough to keep people happy. It is a nice place to just sit and look at the old buildings nearby while you have a cold drink.
