Lakhawala Tankers

Our trucks are usually out and about, but Lakhawala Tankers is based right here at Reti Stand, units 265-266. It’s a busy spot with a lot of movement every single day. We spend a lot of time managing the tankers and making sure they get to where they need to go on time. The office is small, mostly just a place to keep track of schedules and talk to the drivers when they come back from a trip. You’ll find plenty of dust and the smell of diesel around the yard, which is just part of the job. It’s not the cleanest work, but someone has to do it. We handle the logistical side of things, making sure the tanks are ready and the routes are planned out. Sometimes things go wrong, like a flat tire or a delay in traffic, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just how the tanker business goes. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything; we mostly just rely on the fact that people see our trucks on the road and call the number on the side. We’ve been at Reti Stand long enough that most folks in the industry know us by name. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it. The phone rings a lot, usually someone looking for a delivery in a hurry. We try to keep the logs updated so we don't lose track of the fleet. It's noisy when the engines start up early, but the neighbors are used to it.
