Khushwant Buildprop Llp is tucked away at 8 Bhan Baghnew Fatehpura. We’ve been working from this spot for a good while now. It’s a quiet enough area, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on building plans and property stuff. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass building. It’s just us in the office, making sure the daily tasks get handled. Mostly, we deal with property development and building things from the ground up. It involves a lot of phone calls to suppliers and making sure the trucks show up on time. They usually don't, but that’s part of the stress we deal with every day. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just build. Sometimes it’s a small project, sometimes it’s something bigger that takes a year or two. We like to see a project through from the first shovel in the ground to the final brick. It gives you a sense of accomplishment when you drive past a finished site. The guys in the office are local, and we know the Fatehpura area like the back of our hands. If someone walks in with a question about a plot nearby, we can usually answer it without looking at a map. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It's not glamorous, but it pays the bills and helps the neighborhood grow. We like being part of that process.
