Keshav Trading Co

Working out of 16 Savina Samridhi Complex is a bit different than being on a main street. Keshav Trading Co is more of a warehouse setup than a traditional walk-in shop. We have a lot of space here, which is good because we handle large volumes of tea. The complex can get quite busy with deliveries and people moving goods around, so there is always a lot of noise. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking the stock levels against our handwritten notes. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. There are a lot of heavy bags to move and the air is always thick with the scent of dried tea. We have a small area in the front where we keep samples, but most of the action happens in the back. The floor is concrete and it gets very cold in the winter months, so we usually have a small heater running near the desk. We don’t have any big slogans or colorful posters on the walls. It’s just a place of business where we focus on getting the tea where it needs to go. Sometimes the lift in the complex breaks down and we have to carry everything up or down the stairs, which is quite a struggle. We just take it one day at a time and keep the tea moving through the Samridhi Complex.
