Joshi Cement Udhyog

Out here at Plot No. 74 in Nakoda Nagar 2nd, things stay pretty dusty because of all the cement we move around throughout the day. We are right on the Main Road, very close to Transport Nagar, so there are always big trucks rumbling past our gate. It is a noisy area, but it works for us since the transport guys can stop in easily without going out of their way. We started this place because there was a lot of building going on around this part of the district. It is mostly just us handling the bags and making sure they don't get wet if a sudden storm comes through. Cement is heavy and the work is tiring, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We aren't a massive warehouse, just a local spot where people from the neighborhood come when they need a few bags for a renovation or a bigger project. You can see our sign from the road, usually covered in a bit of white dust. My brothers and I take turns watching the place and helping people load their vehicles. Sometimes we just sit outside and watch the traffic go towards the city. It’s not a glamorous job, but people always need cement for their walls, so we stay busy enough. The ground is paved but always has that grey film on it. That is just the way it is when you work with this stuff every day.
