If you go down to the Loha Bazar in Chamanpura, you’ll find us at number 100 in Hathipole. It’s exactly what it sounds like—a big market full of iron and steel. Our place, Iron Supply Agency, is right in the thick of it all. There's always a truck backing in or someone loading up a cart with heavy rods and plates. The noise is something you just learn to live with after a few days. We don't have a fancy showroom or a place for people to sit and have coffee. It’s mostly just stacks of metal and a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. We’ve been here for a long time, and the floor is stained and scratched from years of moving heavy stock around. We don't use much technology here, just the basics to keep track of what goes out and what comes in. It’s a simple business. We buy iron, we store it, and we sell it to people who need it for building things. Sometimes the prices go up, sometimes they go down, and we just deal with it as best as we can. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in town, just a reliable one where you can get what you need without a lot of fuss. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming here since my father ran the place. We talk about the weather, the market, and the family while we wait for the loaders to finish their work.
