We are based out in Bhuwana, right along the NH - 8 highway. It is a very loud place to be because of all the trucks and buses zooming past at all hours. Our building sits back a little bit from the main road, but the dust still manages to find its way inside everything. We spend a lot of time cleaning off the tables and the equipment. This location is good because it is easy for transport, which is important for the kind of work we do here. It is not a place where you would come for a fancy meeting. We have a lot of raw materials sitting out in the yard and the workshop area is usually full of activity. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait or use the manual tools for a while. It gives us a chance to talk and catch up on things. Most of the workers here live nearby, so we are a tight group. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just do the work and hope people like what they get. The highway makes it easy to ship things out to other cities, which is why we stayed here despite the noise. In the evenings, the sun sets right behind the hills and it gets a bit quieter. We lock up the main gate and head home, ready to do it all again the next morning. It’s just a simple life here on the highway.
