Industrial Power Engineering

Industrial Power Engineering is situated in the Madri Ind Area, specifically on F-Road at MIA 351-B. This part of town is all about manufacturing and heavy work. The building itself is quite functional, with high ceilings and a lot of electrical components scattered around the benches. We deal with power systems and engineering parts that look complicated to most people. There’s usually a hum of testing equipment or the sound of someone using a drill in the workshop area. It’s not a place for sitting around. Most of the staff are usually busy with a circuit board or checking a motor that came in for servicing. The desks are covered in manuals, stray wires, and half-empty cups of tea. We don’t have a big sign out front or anything flashy. People find us because they have a specific technical problem that needs fixing. The walls are a plain grey, and the lighting is bright so we can see the small parts we are working with. It can get pretty hot in the summer months because of all the machinery running at once. We keep a log of all the jobs, but it’s mostly hand-written in big registers. It’s just a place where the focus stays on the technical side of power and making sure the equipment is running the way it’s supposed to.
