Our small office is at 17, Subhash Nagar. It’s a quiet enough street, though things get busy in the mornings. Image Minerals works with various minerals, which means a lot of talking to suppliers and keeping track of shipments. It’s mostly industrial stuff, not the kind of things people buy for their homes. We’ve been operating out of this neighborhood for a long time. People around here know us as the mineral folks. There’s a lot of paper trail involved in this business, checking quality reports and making sure the bags are weighed right. It’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes a shipment is late or the weather messes with the transport, and we have to spend the whole day on the phone fixing it. We don't have a big fancy lobby. It’s just desks, some samples on the shelves, and a tea kettle that’s always on. We grew up around here, so we like being in Subhash Nagar instead of some big industrial park far away. The work isn't glamorous. It’s about knowing the grit and the chemical makeup of what we’re moving. We deal with various grades of materials depending on what the factories need. Every day is a bit different, but it always involves a lot of logistics. We try to keep things simple and just get the job done without making a big fuss about it. It’s a living that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
