Our office is tucked away inside GR House over in Hiran Magri, Sector 11. It is part of the larger G R Infraprojects building here in Udaipur. Since we are GR ALIGARH KANPUR HIGHWAY PRIVATE LIMITED, we focus a lot on the road works happening elsewhere, but the main management happens right here. Udaipur is a beautiful city, though Sector 11 is more of a busy business and residential mix. We have a lot of files and maps spread out across the tables on most days. It gets a bit crowded when the site engineers come back to report on things. The desks are usually covered in coffee cups and scribbled notes about distances and materials. We tend to use the stairs more than the lift because it is just faster. It is a professional environment, but it still feels like a local workplace where everyone knows each other’s business. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at computers tracking progress. The traffic outside can get a bit loud during the morning rush hour. We have been in this spot for some time now. People come and go, but the core work stays pretty steady. It is a solid building and we have a decent view of the neighborhood from our windows. It isn't a flashy place, just a functional space where we handle the logistics of highway building. There is always a lot to do.
