Friends Engineering Works

You can find Friends Engineering Works over at B-9/A in the Industrial Estate of Pratap Nagar. We’ve been running this shop for quite some time, and the name pretty much says it all. We started out as a small group and just kept going. The workshop is filled with machines and tools, and there’s usually a bit of grease on the floor, no matter how much we clean. Pratap Nagar is a good area for engineering because there are other shops nearby if we ever need a hand or a specific part. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly spend our time out on the floor getting our hands dirty. It’s a lot of metalwork and fixing things that people bring in. Some of the machines are old, but they still work better than the new ones sometimes. We have a regular routine: open up early, get the machines warmed up, and start on the list of jobs for the day. There’s no big marketing team here. People just know us because we’ve been in the same spot for years. We talk to our customers like neighbors because most of them are. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us. We just focus on making sure the parts we make are solid and do what they are supposed to do for as long as possible.
