Chit Langya Tea Corporation

Chit Langya Tea Corporation has its office at No 209-210 on Surajpole Mandi Road. Being near the mandi means it is always active. There are trucks and carts moving around from early in the morning. Our office is up on the second floor. It’s a plain space with a few desks and some metal filing cabinets. We focus on the tea business, mostly the administrative side of things. We don't have a shop floor with tea for people to smell. It’s more about the records and the distribution. The road outside can get very congested, so we hear a lot of horns honking all day. We’ve got a small window that looks out over the street. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements on the walls. It’s just a place to work. We’ve been at this address for several years and we know the other businesses in the building. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. If someone needs tea, they find their way to our office. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. It’s just a normal office job in a busy part of the city. We do our work and go home when the sun sets.
