Our place is at 37 Basant Vihar, over in the Govardhan Vilas area. Marvel Retail Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a big name, but we’re really just a small team working out of this building. We handle retail supplies and keep a lot of inventory in the back rooms. The layout of the house was changed a bit to make room for all the boxes. It’s a quiet residential neighborhood mostly, so we try not to make too much noise when the delivery vans come by. We spend a lot of time checking labels and counting items. Sometimes the counts don't match, and we have to start all over again. It can be frustrating. We aren't a big flashy store where people walk in off the street. It’s more of a distribution hub for us. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks. We’ve lived and worked in this part of town for a long time. There's no fancy lobby or receptionist here. You just knock on the door and someone will come out. We deal with a lot of different products, so things are always changing. The shelves are usually full to the ceiling. We just focus on keeping the orders moving out to the shops that need them. It's regular work, and we keep things simple.
